2023 Canadian Western Water Ski Championships
KEY TOURNAMENT INFORMATION
Dates: July 21th to 23th, 2023
Location: Albert Dyck Park, Abbotsford, BC
Familiarization
Friday, July 21th, 2023, 8am – 4:30pm
$20 for 4 slalom passes, 2 jumps, or 2 trick passes (max. 2 falls)
Familiarization Allocation
Available familiarization time will be first come first served basis.
Skiers must self-register for familiarization.
No other individual may register for familiarization time on behalf of the skier.
Tournament Format
2 rounds Slalom, 2 round Trick, 2 round Jump
Westerns medals and placement are based on first round only – WRL/CRC
Westerns event days: Saturday and Sunday July 22 & 23.
Eligibility
Must hold a WSWC Membership, meet the qualification standards, be properly registered and be either a Canadian Citizen or a landed immigrant in Canada (WSWC Rule Book Appendix III, (1) and Appendix VI)
Deadline for Receipt of Qualifications
All qualifications must be received at the WSWC National office by 5:00 PM EST Monday, July 18th, 2023.
Registration
Online registrations close Tuesday, July 18 at 12:00am. Online registrations can be completed by using VISA or MasterCard at: Westerns 2023
Must use your CAN Connect account through WSWC and have active membership. The link provided above will take you to log in where you can register and pay for the event.
It is the responsibility of the skier to confirm that his/her registration has been received by the hosting committee. LATE REGISTRATION WILL BE ACCEPTED UP UNTIL 6:00PM THE DAY PRIOR TO THE SKIERS EVENT. A $75 LATE REGISTRATION FEE APPLIES.

One Event: $175
Two Events: $185
Three Events: $195

Westerns Seeding
Seeding is in the order of the skier’s best sanctioned tournament results from the past 12 months.
All results must be received by Water Ski and Wakeboard Canada by the qualifying deadline prior to the start of the
tournament.
Familiarization will be available on the Friday.
A banquet will be held following the last day of competition.
